Board & Train
We offer Board & Train services for bothcreating a well-mannered family pet, as well as the serious gundog enthusiast. The Obedience portion of the program lasts 4 weeks for both scenarios. Gundog training adds on an addition 4-8 weeks, depending on your goals, the dog's aptitude, etc.
Bird Dogs
We train most sporting breeds, for both upland and waterfowl. On the competitive side, we also run AKC Retriever and Pointing breed Hunt Tests. When you call to set up the training for your gundog, be sure to discuss your specific goals - the level of steadiness, what type of hunting you'd like to pursue, any "extras" that may not necessarily be a part of your breed's basic training (i.e. water work with pointing breeds, etc.), and if you're interested in attaining any hunt test titles.
Pet Obedience
Our 4-week Board & Train Obedience program gives your dog all the basics they need to know in order to be a well-rounded family pet. At the end of the four weeks, we have a showing where you come to the facility and learn how to work with your new dog. We go through how to handle distractions, corrections, praise, and more. We also offer Canine Good Citizen testing through the AKC if you would like to add on a title during your pet's stay!
Great Start Puppy Program
This 4-week training program is built for puppies from 8 weeks of age to 6 months. In this program, your pup will learn about crate training, basic house manners, how to walk nicely on a leash, light obedience, and puppy walks through different terrain. The main focus is socialization, desensitization, and building a foundation for a confident puppy. For the sporting pups, they will also be introduced to birds, water, and gunfire to get them off to a solid beginning.
